Join me for a morning of earthy goodness using delicious freshly fallen inflorescence for weaving.
The choice will be yours to decide which method of construction you are drawn to learn.
1. Random weave to create a spherical inspired piece
2. Lattice weave, resulting in a more disciplined pattern
3. Twining, the traditional & timeless basketry technique.
This is a small workshop capped at 8 for maximum tuition, assistance & inspiration. As always I am quite flexible so if you had your heart set on learning grass basketry, no problem just give me a heads up so I can prepare suitable grasses for you.
This workshop is held in my home, on my deck or upstairs in our loft studio, 57 Hannah street, Beecroft NSW.
