I have been a maker all my life, I can’t remember I time when my hands weren’t busy making something.
I was introduced to weaving by my sister one afternoon in her home. I was fascinated that I could make something so functional using just my hands and found grasses. The meditative act of gathering and drying the grasses then weaving them into shape is such a humbling experience. My ethos: what has come from the earth, returns to the earth once discarded, leaving no footprint.
