Formally trained in the soft furnishing industry I ran a bespoke workroom for 25 years supplying custom made soft furnishings to decorators and shops.
I was a regular creative contributor to the Women’s Weekly Handmade Magazine. I also wrote the instruction and supplied sample material for the Women’s Weekly Soft Furnishing book. Over the years I have run many workshops, at Spotlight running the soft furnishing workshops, creative after school enrichment programs for primary children. More recently, i enjoy passing on my weaving knowledge with weaving circle workshops plus wire bird home creative sessions.
