Having a deep love for Mother Nature, I prefer to work with found or gathered grasses, leaves and inflorescence for weaving.
My twine projects focus on natural fair trade strings and twines. My preferred twines being, hemp, linen and jute. I am a basic crocheter and prefer not to follow a pattern so all my crochet pieces are unique as I make by sight and rough size.
I love sticks, moss, lichen and vine, so where possible the elements are added into my woven and crochet pieces.
I am also an avid soap maker. I use gathered flowers and herbs from my garden in my soaps. More recently I have been extracting scent using my home still. Gathering armloads of scented leaves from the lemon myrtle, lavender and rosemary in my garden.
