Crochet hooks

Hard carved using my whittling knife and sand paper. Hook sizes vary from 7 to 9. Firstly I choose just the right branch from a camellia or olive that has a smooth feel and nice even diameter. The bark is scraped away and then the hook is carved. Each hook has a good half hour of sanding with many grades of sandpaper so each hook is smooth. I then seal the timber with bees wax and jojoba oil. This size is perfect for hemp crochet or a chunky cotton or linen twine
